BARYE Antoine Louis (1795-1875). "Guerrier tartare arrêtant son cheval" ("Tartar warrior stopping his horse"), Important bronze with rich green-brown patina, signed on the terrace, Cast by Barbedienne. Height including helmet: 39 cm, length: 31.5 cm (one rein slightly missing). Resting on a matching base in green and brown veined Campan marble (5.8 x 37 cm).
