BARYE Antoine-Louis (1795-1875). Eagle with chamois. Bronze bas-relief with shaded brown patina, signed BARYE, very fine chasing. Embossed on the back, the mark of the founders Eck et Durand, circa 1850. Model presented by founders Richard and Quesnel at the Exposition des produits de l'industrie (pig iron, silver medal) in 1834, they were edited and cast by Eck et Durand, whose activity extended from 1838 to 1863.
