Description
An important pair of late 19th century Medici vases, with mascaron handles, hard porcelain decorated with two paintings in the upper part, tavern scenes and landscapes with fishermen. Empire motifs in bright gold decorate the body and reverse of the neck. Mark with crossed arrows painted in red. H. 32.5 cm. Restorations and some wear to the gilding, missing material under the base of one vase.
