In the center a large, antique-style relief tondo depicting the shepherds Menalcas and Mopsuy playing the flute and singing after the verses of Virgil. Marked L. Levillain. Curved handles with relief mascarons. H. 14.5 cm. 47 cm x 34 cm. A French Neoclassicism bronze centerpiece. France. 2nd half 19th century.
