With the Petit and Grand Palais under the roses. By Louis Oscar Roty (1846-1911). Reverse. The sacred fire that was about to be extinguished is taken up by a cherub. With the beautiful motto "Lumen venturies, tradit moritura, perenne. Les Jeux vacillants, endormis et rénovés par le baron sont là. . 5X3,5. The international sports competitions are organized within the framework and with the support of the Universal Exhibition, and will be recognized as the second Olympic Games.

Board corner. 17X15,5; b) 20-franc bearer bond. Share in perfect condition, whole (which is rare). Used to finance Expo. There were over 3 million of these bonds, but those that survived the war are very rare. Financing the Exhibition also meant financing the Games, and entering the Exhibition meant being able to see some of the international sporting competitions.
