ANTÓNIO NEVES (n.1963), SERIGRAFIA Serigrafia sobre papel, da obra de António Neves, assinada e numerada: 24/200. Dim. Mancha: 23,5x58 cm; Dim. Suporte: 40x69,5 cm. # António Neves (n.1963). António Neves nasceu em Aveiro e desde cedo se interessou pela pintura. Aos 16 anos ingressou na Fábrica Vista Alegre onde começou a ter aulas de desenho e, um ano depois, de pintura. Aqui laborou durante oito anos e, em 1987, quando também já era monitor de pintura no Centro de Criação Artística da fábrica, decidiu iniciar a sua carreira nas artes plásticas. A sua técnica preferencial é a aguarela, mas também produz a acrílico, óleo, técnica mista e escultura. Recebeu uma menção honrosa na Feira de Artesanato de Aveiro II (1987), o 1.º Prémio do Salão de Artes Plásticas de Ílhavo (1990) e a distinção do Homem do Leme (2000).
