Red wax stamp on preserved parchment stem. Very good condition. The 1546 document comes from "Guillaume Ruzé [...] advisor to the Hault and powerful Duke of Guise, peer of France, Count of Aumalle, Baron of Joinville, Seneschal General of Champagne", i.e. CLAUDE DE LORRAINE or Claude de Guise (1496-1550). Signed "Grenonville". The second document is from Monseigneur le bailli de Nancy et Metz, "pardevant Monseigneur le bailli de Chaumont", etc. Signed "Dicart". Singé "Dicart".
