About Robert Einbeck: www.roberteinbeck.com : The "Serenity" virtual reality project is a humanistic project for hospitalized patients and nursing staff in Professor Bertrand Marcheix's thoracic and cardiovascular surgery department at the CHU Rancueil in Toulouse, and Professor Pascal Leprince's cardiovascular and thoracic surgery department at the Hôpital de la Salpêtrière in Paris. The project is an innovative approach combining science, painting, music, audio-visuals and new technologies, and follows on from a study of the effects of color on the heart carried out on 100 hospital patients. Its aim is to provide hospitalized patients with moments of anti-stress, fulfillment, well-being, serenity and relaxation.
