The glimmering painting depicting a cluster of tall bamboo shoots, their leaves and nodes nicely rendered. Signed with the artist’s signature within a circular frame in red lacquer along the lower right-hand edge. SIZE 180.5 x 173.4 cm Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, small nicks to the lacquer frame, and minor soiling.

Straight, high rectangular panels that can be folded on both sides with narrow, edged framing, recessed, ebonized reserves and applied brass star motifs. The panels depict various musical instruments such as a lyre, panpipe and horn on large bow motifs, flanked by spears. In the background, painted tent panels with decorative tassel hangings.
