WWI Poster. ROYER. L’Aurore. Poster measuring 80 x 60 cm. Illustration with vivid colors. Below, on the right, the author's signature. The title stands out at the top, next to the flag. At the top, covered by twigs with green leaves, is the writing "Marne Yser, Somme Verdun." Good condition. Magnificent illustration that celebrates victory by evoking the four great battles of the World War I. Henri Paul Royer, 1869 - 1938, was a French painter, remembered especially for his genre works from Brittany. A painter of genre, portraitist and landscape artist, he traveled both in America and Europe during his life. Royer taught at the Académie Julian and at the École des Beaux-Arts. Among his many students were Georgina and Lucilio de Albuquerque, Fréderic Fiebig, Jacques Majorelle, Thérèse Geraldy and Émile Louis Picault. When the First World War broke out, he was first incorporated into the 41st Infantry Regiment. He was awarded the Croix de Guerre on November 17, 1915 and the Military Cross on August 10, 1916. Thereafter, he joined the 1st Regiment of Engineering camouflage section on November 1, 1916. He was promoted to officer of the Legion of Honor on 11 August 1931.

Worcestershire Regiment officer's helmet, navy blue canvas-covered leather bomber, six-sided gold tip on trefoil base with four floral rivets, front plate with radiant background, featuring a laurel wreath under the royal crown, with the Empire lion at its center and the motto "Honi soit qui mal y pense" ("Honored be those who think badly") and a silver banner marked "The Worcestershire Regiment", chinstrap with gold rings, visor edged with a brass snap ring, cream leather interior and manufacturer's mark "Samuel Brothers Ltd. Naval and Military Outfitters. 65 & 67 Ludgatehill London", headgear worn but in superb condition, retaining all its gilding, preserved in a metal carrying case marked on a brass plate "Captn M.B. Howitt Royal Surrey Rgt", England late 19th century (probably 1898), The Worcestershire Regiment was a line infantry regiment raised in 1881, and distinguished itself in the First and Second World Wars.

Major Coldstream Guards, 1825", "Officer grenadier guards, 1821", "Officer coldstream guards, 1825", Napoleonic infantry regiment drummer and Napoleonic Hussar. Four in glazed porcelain and one in Italian glazed porcelain with apocryphal mark of the Capodimonte manufacture (Naples, Italy, 1771-1834). Marks on the base two. Max. size: 31 x 10 x 7 cm.

Four in glazed porcelain and one in glazed Spanish porcelain from the manufacture Talleres de Ceramica de Jose Maria Alvarez (Spain, sXX). Marks on the base. Max. size: 28 x 8 x 8 cm.
