Finely executed in the manner of Katsushika Hokusai and depicting images from the series Fifty-three Stations on the Tokaido Road. Image SIZE 28 x 34 cm, SIZE incl. mounting 32.5 x 40.2 cm Condition: Very good condition with minor wear. Some soiling, dark spots, and stains. Firmly mounted on a cardboard frame. Provenance: From the private collection of Thomas Padua, Mühldorf, Germany. Titled Denshin kaishu (Hokusai manga), the lot contains three volumes: Vol. 3, Vol. 6, and Vol. 13, from an original series of fifteen volumes.
