Gilt-bronze APPLIQUE CARTEL decorated with gadroons and pearl falls on the base of the lamp, terminating in large water leaves, the white enameled dial with Arabic and Roman numerals signed Denis-François DUBOIS in PARIS, surrounded by garlands of laurel leaves and fire pots, ending in a large covered vase with ram's head handle, the finely chased fleur-de-lys hands (to be cleaned, presence of fine hot gilding). Louis XVI period, circa 1775/80. Height: 72 cm. Width 35 cm.
