Proof of an early print, cut at the edge of the composition. H. 11.4 cm - L. 7.5 cm The print is mounted on a sheet of laid paper. There is an epidermure near the tree, on the left; and a tear filled by the lining between the edge of the sheet and the young woman's headdress. Also included: - The surgeon and the peasant. 1524 Bartsch 156 Copper engraving. Copy in counterpart of the artist's original print. Proof cut at the edge of the composition. H. 11.4 cm - W. 7.3 cm These three prints are mounted on a sheet of laid paper. Good proof of an early print, cut at the edge of the composition, but very slightly truncated by 1 mm on the left-hand side. H. 7.6 cm - W. 11.6 cm The print is mounted on a sheet of laid paper. A framing line has been drawn in pen around the subject. - Virginia Bartsch 84 Copperplate engraving. Good proof of an early print, cut at the edge of the composition. H. 11.5 cm - W. 7.5 cm The print is mounted on a sheet of laid paper. Slight edge loss at bottom left. Heinrich ALDEGREVER (1502-c.1555) - Leda with the Swan and Child Hercules (1550) Copper engraving. Good proof of an early print, irregularly cut at the edge of the composition.
