Beautiful round miniature on ivory, double-sided, on one side the portrait of a man in bust form in a blue suit and white tie, on the other a scene painted in white on a blue background depicting a woman and an angel crowning two hearts placed on an altar bearing the inscriptions: "L'amour et L'amitié les couronne" (sic); round frame with pompom hoop and filigree scroll decoration around it; diameter 75 mm. Late 18th, early 19th century. Very good condition
