Artist information: English landscape painter and watercolourist (1729 Lancashire to 1816 Guildford in Surrey), already listed as a painter in London in 1742, participated in the exhibitions of the Free Society of Artists and the Royal Academy, the famous Green Frog Service produced by Wedgwood for Catherine the Great shows some motifs by Devis, source: Thieme-Becker and Wikipedia.
