Large gilded frame, surmounted by the painted arms of Barons DUCHAUSSOY, DELCAMBRE de CHAMPVERT; it contains a colored drawing of an Infantry Officer of the 169th regiment, decorated with the Chevalier de l'Ordre de la Légion d'Honneur cross and the Croix de guerre de 1914/1918 - This drawing is signed and dated: "1916". It probably refers to DUCHAUSSOY Joseph Paul Armand Ignace de Loyola. Four photos of him in various infantry regiments are included, as is his brevet de chevalier de l'ordre de la Légion d'honneur, awarded on March 9, 1911, when he was a captain in the 45th Infantry Regiment. Early 20th century. Very good condition.
