Spanish school, second third of the 20th century. "Characters". 1962. Mixed media on paper. Signed "Gimeno" and dated on the right side. Presents the broken glass. Measurements: 25 x 47 cm; 50 x 72 cm (frame). In this painting on paper a group of peasants and fishermen are represented in a synthetic way, whose profession we recognize by the shoals of fish that accompany them. The author practices a modern concept of figuration, outlining the contours of the characters as if they were cut silhouettes.
