Enameled polychrome porcelain, resting on a rectangular base, depicting an orchestra conductor and his musicians, inspired by the plates in the Les Gobbi series, produced in 1620-1622 by Jacques Callot, depicting the hunchback chosen to entertain Grand Duke Cosimo II de' Medici at his court. Age wear, restorations, but overall good condition. Under-cover reversbleu mark: N under crown, 19th/20th century. H.: 12 cm to 9 cm - W.: 4.5 cm - D.: 4.5 cm.
