Stoneware Buddha head in the Khmer style, H: 21 cm (stains). Provenance: brought back by Georges Collet in the 1930s. Georges Collet: an architect who took part in major projects in Indochina. Among others, he was part of the team that took part in the detailed survey of the Angkor temple reconstituted in the Bois de Vincennes for the 1931 Colonial Exhibition.
