Transition Chest of Drawers, with stamp by the cabinetmaker Pierre Roussel (1723-1782). In rosewood wood with geometric decoration in rosewood and lemongrass, with lock shields and handles in gilded bronze. Marble top. Roussel was recognized during his lifetime as one of the first cabinetmakers in Paris. He gained a great reputation and was part of the French Corporation of Cabinetmakers.
