Figure of a Boy with Fish 1760-1770, sculpture cast in a mold in varnished, painted soft paste and white vitreous enamel from the Real Fábrica de Porcelana del Buen Retiro (Madrid, 1760 - Madrid, 1850), with a blue Fleur de Lis mark on base. Height: 19 cm The original figures were created by Gricci in the Capodimonte factory, and it is likely that they were influenced by the children's works of the artist Boucher. Let us remember that Boucher spent time at the French Academy in Rome, at least for a period of three years. It is possible that these models were moved to Madrid along with other elements of the manufacture, where they continued to be produced with minor modifications until about the mid-1780s.
