AN ANTIQUE CEYLON NO HEAT MULTICOLOUR SAPPHIRE, SPESSARTINE GARNET AND DIAMOND NEGLIGEE NECKLACE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY in platinum and yellow gold, set with a cushion cut spessartine garnet of approximately 5.81 carats, suspending two drops set with an oval cut blue of approximately 5.80 carats and a cushion cut yellow sapphire of approximately 5.48 carats, accented by rose cut diamonds, suspended from an trace chain, no assay marks, 47.0cm, 16.1g. Accompanied by a fitted box and a facsimile GIA report stating that the sapphires are of Ceylon (Sri Lankan) origin with no indication of heat treatment.
