Josep Guinovart, Abstraction High-contrast combination in red and black using lettering, colour screenprint on light card, signed and dated "Guinovart (19)71" in pencil on the lower right and numbered "25/75" on the left, barely noticeable rubbing, matted, sheet dimensions approx. 50 x 70 cm. Artist information: real name Josep Guinovart i Bertan, Spanish painter and graphic artist (1927 Barcelona - 2007 Barcelona), studied in Barcelona and from 1951 in Paris, 1948 co-founder of the group "Dau al Set" together with Antoni Tàpies and Joan Miró, 1992 participation in the Expo in Seville, source: Bénézit and Wikipedia.

JOSEP ROCA SASTRE (Terrassa, 1928 - Barcelona, 1997). "Façade". Oil on táblex. Signed in the lower left corner. Measurements: 84 x 34 cm; 98,5 x 48 cm (frame). Formed in Barcelona, from the sixties Roca initiates a personal, independent style, and creates his own language. His proposal focused on recovering the look of the close and the everyday, the known. He exhibited for forty years in the Sala Parés in Barcelona, and also showed his work in other Spanish cities, as well as in the United States. In 1966 he was awarded the Sant Jordi prize by the Diputació de Barcelona, and two years later the medal of honor at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris. In 1980 he became a member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi, and in 1993 he was awarded the Quadern Prize of the Fundació Amics de les Arts i de les Lletres de Sabadell. Roca Sastre developed a figurative style of intimate themes, applying a personal and subjective look to his interior scenes as well as to his urban and natural landscapes. Since his death, retrospectives of Josep Roca's work have been held at La Pedrera and the Muncunill (Terrassa), Oriol (Barcelona) and Juan Oliver Maneu (Palma de Mallorca) galleries. His work is preserved in the National Museum of Art of Catalonia.

JOSEP MARIA DE SUCRE I DE GRAU (Barcelona, 1886 - 1969). "Personaje". Grease pencil on paper. Signed on the right side. Frame with some damage. Measurements: 18 x 13 cm; 36 x 31,5 cm (frame). Art critic, writer and painter, Josep Maria de Sucre held his first individual exhibition in October 1928, in the Dalmau Galleries, and that same year he took part in an exhibition of abstract art that caused a great scandal, being closed the second day. After the Civil War, Sucre was forced into poverty, although he gradually recovered his contacts and activities. In 1948 the first October Salon was held, in which the artist played an important organizational role. Two years later, on the occasion of his presence at the Cercle Maillol of the French Institute of Barcelona, conferences, projections and art exhibitions were held. In 1962 he was awarded the Juan Gris Prize for his pictorial career, and in 1964 a book of his memoirs was published. Sucre is currently represented in the MACBA in Barcelona and in the Gargallo Museum in Zaragoza, as well as in other public and private collections.
