The years from 1955 to 1970 were difficult for BMW. The invasion of Japanese brands became a cause for concern. When asked whether they would continue to manufacture 2-wheelers, the management responded with the arrival of a practising motorcyclist: Herr Von der Marvitz in 1964. He was commissioned to develop a new motorcycle range. In 1973, for the brand's fiftieth anniversary, the 6 series was presented: R60/6, R75/6, R90/6 and R90S, the one everyone's talking about. A restart is required to pass the technical inspection.
