Masque africain DOGON, Mali. Wood, polychrome natural pigments. Kanaga" dance mask used by members of the Awa society, particularly during the Dama cult of the dead. Evoking the creator God Amma, it represents a stylized human face surmounted by a double-cross superstructure symbolizing the "Kommolo Tebu". Height: 112 cm. Width: 65 cm. Minor accidents and missing parts.
