Statue of an acephalous male deity depicted standing in samabhanga on a high square base. The sampot, characteristic of the Baphuon school, is fitted close to the body, starting at the top of the hips and descending just below the navel. The belt is placed low on the hips, where the front flap is tied into stylized leaves. Cambodia, Khmer, Baphuon Angkor period 11th c. Sandstone. 16x15x64cm
