Traces of wear, waterstain on margin and upper corner of some pages. Very rare first edition. Catalogue of the Auction held in Paris on Friday, May 20, 1757, where Mr. Logerot's prestigious library was put up for sale, with 823 works, a total of 1659 volumes and 16 lots of prints. Catalogue chapters: Théologie, Jurisprudence, Sciences & Arts, Belles-Lettres, Histoire. Of note in the section 'Mathematiques & Arts' are the books dealing with music, from No. 305 to No. 317.
