The illustrations, on different sizes, are photogravures glued on the sheets. Little rip on the inner margin of the titlepage, overall very nice condition.Rare edition. According to Toole-Stoot, the circus bibliographer, this is the only edition. In 30 plates are illustrated, by the painter J. G. Prestel, 1804 - 1885, the misadventures on horseback of Count Sándor: each plate is accompanied by descriptive caption. The subtitle states that Prestel accompanied the count, legendary horseman, for 12 years.
