Original cloth binding with painted floral illustrations and title on the front plate. End papers in polychrome marbled paper. One watercolour on the verso of the first end paper, 55 sheets with watercolour-painted drawings on the recto, each with the name of the animal depicted and the artist's signature. Traces of wear to the binding, internally good condition. Curious and original bestiary with animals portrayed in their natural environment. Of particular quality are the drawings of dogs; the scene that opens the album, with three monkeys tormenting a pig, is bizarre.
