Epinal - Timbuktu. Two colored lithographs. Fine lithographs concerning the French occupation of Timbuktu (Mali) in 1893. In one of the prints is the triumphal entry of the military column led by Lieutenant Colonel Bonnier, and in the other, in two vignettes, is a panorama of the Malian city and the fatal ambush to which a column of French troops commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Bonnier himself went on January 15, 1894.
