Very good impression, faded, laid down, cut. Ichikawa Danjuro VII with Kumadori make-up mask in the role of Watonai in Kokusenya Kassen. He stands on a drum bridge in the rain at night and gives a signal with a torch. The sheet "Romon yau" (Evening Rain at Romon Waterfall), from series "Au-mi hakkeii" (Eight Views of Lake Biwa). The publisher's seal is dated by Andreas Marks 1848-49.
