Gilt title and date on back, marbled endpapers. Contains: the published commemorative pamphlet with speeches, lists of those present and donors, a nominative plan and menu. Added at the end are 56 autographed manuscripts, letters, postcards, cards, from former pupils of the Lavoisier School, mounted on guards. Luxury album produced on the occasion of the banquet on November 21, 1937 donated in honor of Jules Delarbre, Honorary President of the "Association Amicale des Anciens Elèves de l'Ecole Lavoisier" to celebrate his 40 years on the Committee and his 70th birthday.The letters are usually addressed to 'Mon cher Camarade' or 'President'; some, however, indicate as addressee 'Monsieur A. P. Mignot, 137 B.d. de Grenelle, Paris 15e'. We can therefore assume that this album belonged to A. P. Mignot.
