Nautical chart centered on the bay of San Salvador with particular emphasis on maritime surveys of the seabed overlooking the Brazilian coast near the bay.The map was drawn up thanks to the military expeditions of the French Navy in 1819 led by Baron Albin Roussin, commissioned by the king for the hydrographic exploration of the coasts of Africa and Brazil.
