GIAMPICCOLI – RICCI. Borgo fortificato e due pescatori. Against the backdrop of a village perched on a slight hill, two fishermen and a shepherd with two cattle are placed on opposite banks of a waterway in the foreground.The second edition, edited by Teodoro Viero, is dated to 1775 and is enriched with 12 landscapes and 2 additional frontispieces, made by Giampiccoli and Tiepolo also, most likely, before 1735 but remained unpublished for about forty years, bringing the number of landscapes from 36 to 48 and the total number of engravings to 52, divided into four series of 12 plates each with a frontispiece prefixed to each, numbered "I," "II," "III," "IV," and numbers 1 to 12.
