King 'Louis' signature at the end. Countersignature by Michel (IV) Le Tellier. Slight traces of wear, good specimen. The King appoints the 'Sieur de Frarin' Major of the Sieur de Quincy cavalry regiment. The document was drawn up in the military camp of Aluze in Franche-Comté, where Louis XIV was for the war against the Spanish. The document bears the signature at the end of Michel (IV) Le Tellier, Marquis of Barbezieux, 'Secrétaire d'État de la Guerre' from December 27, 1651 to October 27, 1677.
