JOURS DE GLOIRE, published under the High Patronage of M.Le Ministre de L'Education Nationale, is sold for the benefit of Œuvres De La Croix-Rouge française pour les Prisonniers de Guerre, preface by M.Le Général KOENIG, Poem by Paul ELUARD and Paul VALERY, DARAGNèS, PICASSO, TOUCHAGUES & DIGNIMONT for the Engravings and drawings. In-4 sheets in soft cover, 142 pages excluding plates on Vélin de Lana. The illustrations include a frontispiece composed and engraved in mezzotint by DARAGNÈS, an out-of-text burin engraving (portrait of Françoise Gilot) and two drawings in the text by PICASSO, 4 original etchings and 17 drawings in the text by DIGNIMONT, and 4 etchings and 25 drawings in the text by TOUCHAGUES. Fairly good overall condition, despite some foxing and yellowing of the front cover.
