Jaeger LeCoultre's famous Atmos clock, nicknamed "The clock that lives on the air of time", is renowned for its revolutionary winding mechanism driven by the contraction and expansion of a mixture of gases. This unique mechanism enables the clock to operate thanks to variations in temperature and atmospheric pressure, without the need for manual winding. Recognized as the official gift of the Swiss Confederation, the Atmos clock has graced the desks of such luminaries as Winston Churchill, J. F. Kennedy and Pope John Paul II.
