Affiche Ancienne Original vintage Soviet anti-USA and Reagan propaganda poster opposing the sanctions blocking a major Soviet gas pipeline initiative designed to carry huge amounts of fuel to America’s critical allies in Europe, featuring a photograph of the pipeline and workers writing on it in white paint - Your sanctions go down the drain / Pipe down your sanctions, Mr. Reagan! - where the word 'pipe' in Russian slang means 'dumper', or 'go bust'. The caption above the image reads - Soviet people warmly approve of the patriotic initiative of the labour collectives of gas builders, who gave their word to put into operation all gas pipelines, including the export pipeline, on time and ahead of schedule, despite the discriminatory sanctions taken by the US administration.
