Affiche Ancienne Original vintage World War Two propaganda poster for French Equatorial Africa featuring an outline of the continent, with the map showing Chad, Cameroun, and Moyen Congo, arrows pointing outwards marking directions to ascension and natal, to Libya and Tunisia, to Russia via the Middle East, to Egypt, to the British possessions of South Africa, and to the air and sea connections with America, the quote by French General Charles Mangin (1866-1925) reads - Who holds Chad, holds Africa / Qui tient le Tchad, tient l'Afrique.
