Affiche Ancienne Original vintage travel sticker advertising new ninety-minute electric service between London and Hastings, for 1066 Country by Southern Railway, featuring a great image showing picturesque towns and villages, attractions such as Pevensey, Battle, Hastings and Rye. 1066 Country Route commemorates the year of the Battle of Hastings. It runs through East Sussex from Pevensey where William of Normandy gathered his invading army of Normans and prepared to meet King Harold to Rye, passing through Battle. Horizontal.
