Affiche Ancienne Original vintage travel advertising poster by LMS, Map of The London Midland and Scottish Railway and Connections, featuring a map of the British Isles marking LMS lines in red, other railway's lines in black, steamer routes with the interrupted line, and coach routes, with a small inset of Orkney and Shetland Islands. Formed in 1923 by a merger of the London and North Western Railway, the Midland Railway, and the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway, LMS was a British railway company, until it was nationalised in 1948 and became a part of the British Railways. Printed in England by McCorquodale & Co., London. Good condition, folds, creasing, tears, staining, tape on image.
