Affiche Ancienne Original vintage advertising poster for an absinthe alcohol drink Pernod Fils - Get to know Pernod. Fresh, French & Different, featuring a colourful illustration of Belle Epoque ladies in pink dresses and green hats, a hugging couple and two ladies in elegant tall hats, green and red lettering, and an image of Pernod bottle at the bottom. Pernod Fils was a popular brand of anise absinthe from 1790s to 1915 when it was banned, with small scale production at the Banus distillery in Tarragona, Catalonia until the 1960s. Good condition, creasing, minor staining. Country of issue: France, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 76x51, year of printing: 1960s.
