Affiche Ancienne Original vintage sport poster for the IXth British Commonwealth Games Edinburgh Scotland 16-25 July 1970 featuring an illustration of an athlete jumping the title hurdle set over a light blue background. This multi-sport event has been held since 1930; 42 nations participated in the 1970 Commonwealth Games, opened by Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh and held at the Meadowbank Stadium. Printed by Inprint, Edinburgh, Scotland. Good condition, creasing, fold on corner, minor staining. Country of issue: UK, designer: Barbe, size (cm): 49x38, year of printing: 1970.
