Great design by renowned American graphic designer Lance Wyman, showing a stylised design of a gymnast on the rings, with the famous Mexico 68 design displayed across the bottom of the image. The 1968 Games were the third to be held in the last quarter of the year, after the 1956 Games in Melbourne and the 1964 Games in Tokyo. Lance Wyman (born in 1937) is known for his work under Pedro Ramirez Vazquez, design concept and direction, in developing applications of the Mexico 68 logo in Ramirez Vazquez's personal office in Mexico City. Printed in Mexico by Miguel Galas. Very good condition, pinholes, minor staining. Country of issue: Mexico, designer: Lance Wyman, size (cm): 30x30, year of printing: 1968.
