Affiche Ancienne Original vintage sport poster for the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico. Great design by Manuel Villazon, depicting pink, fuchsia, green, orange, blue and black spherical shapes resembling lanterns set over a yellow background. The 1968 Summer Olympics was an international multi-sport event held in Mexico City. These were the first Olympic Games to be staged in Latin America and the first to be staged in a Spanish-speaking country. They were the first Games to use an all-weather (smooth) track for track and field events instead of the traditional cinder track. Excellent condition. Country of issue: Mexico, designer: Manuel Villazon, size (cm): 30x30, year of printing: 1966.
