JAPAN, Satsuma kilns - Early 20th century Pair of large Satsuma earthenware baluster vases, polychrome and gold enameled on each side with rakan and their attributes in their clouds and under pine trees on a background of peonies and geometric motifs, the handles in the form of knotted ropes. The grips of the lids in the form of seated shishi. Resting on a tripod base (Accidents). Total height 79 cm.
