Small in-12 black morocco, spine ribbed, gilt title, cold fillet framing the boards decorated in the center with a large cross with a semis of gilt fleur-de-lis, crowned at the head with fleur-de-lis terminating the arms, interior lace, gilt tr. over marbling, purple moire lining and endpaper (Gruel). Engraved double frontispiece. Fine E.A.S. from M. de Lesse to Madame la Duchesse de La Roche Guyon (April 26, 1888). Stamp of the library of the Château de La Roche Guyon (La Rochefoucauld). A superb copy.
