WERNER NUSSBERGER OPENING RIGID BAND BRACELET In wild yellow gold, holding an antique gorgon face tearing the gold ribbon, punctuated with cameo lines of white and cognac diamonds. Signed. A diamond and 18k gold bracelet, by Nussberger. Signed. Note: Bronze medal, 2nd-3rd century, Roman Art. This representation of the Gorgon with its tongue out is called a "gorgoneion", and was used to ward off evil spirits. RC : Dimensions: approx. 5.8 x 4.5 cm. Gross weight: 55.9 g (18k - 750).
