In-folio brown morocco, richly decorated ribbed spine, gilt title, place and date in tail, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, gilt edges, interior lace (Champs). Fine edition illustrated with 12 plates of motifs, 51 plates of ceramics (41 in color), 4 plates of marks and numerous in-text figures. Original French edition published under the direction of M. A. Racinet. (Vicaire I, 138.) A few scratches on the front cover, rare foxing, otherwise a very fine copy in excellent condition in a signed binding.
