NASA. HUBBLE TELESCOPE. LARGE FORMAT. A magnificent scattering of stars appears in this photograph as it is captured some 180,000 light-years from Earth in the Small Magellanic Cloud. The cluster, which lies in the constellation Tucana (Toucan), contains a multitude of stars, many of which are scattered in this striking image. As star clusters form from a single primordial cloud of gas and dust, all the stars they contain are roughly the same age.
